  • Unit 1 Jan 16-18 Online

Roots & Energetics: The Elemental Body

Unit 1 anchors students in the foundations of yoga and The Primal Flow®.
They explore the history and philosophy of yoga, the 8-limbed path, the Yamas and Niyamas, and the energetics of the chakra system and nadis.
Students learn how The Elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ether) operate as both an energetic map and a practical framework for movement, intention, and sequencing.
This unit establishes the philosophical and energetic foundation for the entire training.

  • Unit 2 Feb 27-29 Online

Anatomy Foundations: Structure, Stability & Energy

Unit 2 focuses on functional anatomy, biomechanics, and safe movement principles.
Students learn how joints, muscles, connective tissues, and the nervous system work together to create strong, sustainable practices.
This unit connects anatomy to how we move in yoga, why alignment matters, and how to prepare the body for deeper practices.
It builds the physical literacy teachers need to cue and sequence with intelligence.

  • Unit 3 April 10-12 Online

    Asana, Sanskrit & Elemental Language

Unit 3 covers foundational postures, Sanskrit names, pose families, and key alignment principles.
Students learn how to pronounce and understand Sanskrit, how poses relate to one another, and how to adapt and modify through props and accessibility.
Elemental language is layered in so trainees can begin to teach with energy, intention, and clarity.
This unit gives the technical vocabulary and structure needed for confident teaching.

  • Unit 4 The Primal Flow Certification Choice

    The Primal Flow Certification

Unit 4 is the immersive Primal Flow Certification experience the heart of our method and the moment where everything from Units 1–3 comes alive in full expression.

During this weekend, students learn how to teach the complete 7-phase Primal Flow class arc:
Sacred Space → Awakening → Meditative Flow → Holding Space → Release → Grounding → Surrender.
You will deepen your teaching presence, energetic intention, sequencing skill, and ability to guide students through a full embodied journey.

To support accessibility across regions, trainees may choose from one of four in-person certification weekends:

    Primal Flow® Certification Options

    March 27–29 — Orlando, FL

    April 24–26 — Butler, PA

    May 15–17 — Minneapolis, MN

    June 18–21 — Shrewsbury, MA

This unit blends everything learned in Units 1–3: foundational yoga, anatomy, energetics, asana, sequencing, and the element-based teaching language unique to The Primal Flow.
Upon completion of Unit 4, students receive their Primal Flow Certification a required component of the full 200HR YTT.

  • Unit 5 June 12-14 Online

    Somatics, Release & Creative Sequencing

Unit 5 explores the instinctual, emotional, and expressive layers of the practice.
Students learn somatic movement principles, shake therapy foundations, intuitive movement, and how the nervous system responds to release.
Creative sequencing — including transitions, storytelling, and elemental arcs — is introduced here.
This unit teaches trainees how to hold space safely, guide release, and design classes that are intuitive, trauma-aware, and authentic.

  • Unit 6 In Person July 17-19th

    INTEGRATION, PRACTICUM AND GRADUATION RETREAT

    Graduation Immersion Weekend

Unit 6 is your final weekend together and is held as a lakeside retreat experience. This setting is intentional. After months of study, practice, growth, and personal exploration, the quiet rhythm of the lake allows your body and mind to settle, integrate, and reflect.
This retreat includes lodging, meals, and shared time in nature so you can fully immerse yourself in the experience without worrying about logistics.

The focus of Unit 6 is application.
This is where everything from Units 1 through 5 comes together in real time. You will draw from your knowledge of the elements, philosophy, anatomy, Sanskrit, sequencing, somatic movement, space holding, and the full Primal Flow method to step into the role of teacher with confidence and clarity.
